​Ensemble La Sirena was founded in 2021, under the artistic direction of Joana Guiné, who is responsible for research, program design, and transcriptions from original facsimiles. Sevastianos Motorinos isthe regular harpsichordist, while other musicians are invited according to the requirements of the repertoire. The primary focus is to perform cantatas and monody accompanied by basso continuo, exploring lesser-known repertoire and the important rhetorical, poetic, and dramaturgical aspects, while ensuring the stories hidden within the text are brought to life.
